About the Role:
At Syneos Health, the Clinical Eye Care Educator plays a pivotal role in educating Eye Care Professionals (ECPs) on their integral role in supporting cancer patients with Relapsed Refractory Multiple Myeloma (RRMM). This position focuses on promoting awareness and compliance with essential eye exams, enhancing patient care, and improving communication between ECPs, patients, and hematology/oncology teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Educate and empower Eye Care Professionals on the importance of eye exams in RRMM patients.

  • Deliver impactful training and educational content tailored to healthcare professionals.

  • Collaborate with Oncology Account Managers and the Medical team to ensure proper communication of product-related and REMS information, in line with FDA guidelines.

  • Support care coordination as needed to enhance treatment continuity and quality.


Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required.

  • 3+ years of experience in optometry, ophthalmology, or nursing (preferably with an oncology or specialized medical education background), or
    1–3 years of direct clinical oncology experience, including education, patient care, and physician interaction.

  • Strong communication skills for translating complex oncology concepts to ECPs and other stakeholders.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience in developing and delivering educational materials and training.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across departments and management levels.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with specialty pharmacy or payer operations.

  • Clinical backgrounds such as CRNs, Nurse Practitioners (NPs), or Physician Assistants (PAs) with eye care experience are highly preferred.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary Range: $160,000 - $167,500 (based on qualifications and experience)
