Job Overview

Fortrea is relaunching its Patient Access program under the new name Neovance and is seeking a Clinical Director to join the team. The Clinical Director will be responsible for overseeing clinical support programs, including contact center and field-based clinical services, while providing strategic direction and leadership to clients, vendors, and teams. This role will play a pivotal part in designing nursing programs tailored to patients' treatment journeys, maximizing patient outcomes, and meeting clients’ objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and healthcare providers.
  • Strategic Direction:

    • Provide clients and vendors with strategic direction on clinical program structure, delivery, and optimization.
  • Program Design and Optimization:

    • Design and implement nursing programs tailored to patients' specific treatment needs, ensuring alignment with client goals and maximizing patient outcomes.
    • Continually optimize programs with new initiatives that deliver value and enhance outcomes.
  • Team Management:

    • Assist in hiring and developing Clinical Managers and other field-based clinicians.
    • Ensure teams deliver high-quality services aligned with client objectives and expectations.
    • Lead training initiatives for Clinical Managers and team members.
  • Program Monitoring and Reporting:

    • Identify program trends and opportunities for improvement and provide actionable recommendations to clients.
    • Handle escalated issues, ensuring resolution and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
    • Contribute to regular summary reports for clients on program performance.
  • Field Clinical Education:

    • Oversee field clinical education services and manage field-based nurses and other clinicians.
    • Collaborate with operations management and client teams to ensure clinical teams are well-trained and up-to-date on program protocols and processes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:

    • A nursing (RN) or other medical degree is required.
    • A bachelor's degree with graduate studies is highly preferred.
  • Experience:

    • 10+ years of relevant clinical experience, with at least 5+ years in clinical management.
    • Experience developing and managing clinical field services and contact center programs.
    • Strong leadership skills with experience managing high-performing clinical teams.
    • Experience in providing clients with program strategic direction and managing large-scale clinical programs.
  • Skills:

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and manage client relationships.
    • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and analytical skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
