Position Overview

We are seeking a Clinical Director to lead and oversee clinical support programs, including contact center and field-based clinical services. This role involves strategic advising to biopharmaceutical clients, collaborating with vendors, and managing clinical teams. The Clinical Director will focus on designing nursing programs tailored to specific treatment journeys and maximizing patient outcomes while meeting client goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client & Vendor Relationship Management:

    • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and healthcare providers.
    • Provide strategic direction on clinical program structure, delivery, and optimization.
  • Program Design & Implementation:

    • Design and implement nursing programs based on patient needs, disease state, drug delivery methods, and adherence challenges.
    • Continuously optimize programs to demonstrate value to customers and enhance patient outcomes.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Manage and develop Clinical Managers and field-based clinicians.
    • Ensure that clinical teams provide high-quality services aligned with client objectives.
    • Lead training initiatives for clinical staff and ensure compliance with client needs.
  • Operational Management & Reporting:

    • Monitor program performance and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
    • Manage escalated customer issues, ensuring timely resolution.
    • Review and contribute to regular summary reports for clients.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    • A nursing (RN) or other medical degree is required.
    • A bachelor’s degree with graduate study is highly preferred.
  • Experience:

    • 10+ years of relevant clinical experience and 5+ years in clinical management.
    • Experience in designing and managing clinical field services and contact center programs.
    • Proven leadership ability and experience in providing clients with program strategic direction.
  • Skills:

    • Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
    • Problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt and offer solutions.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and analytical skills.
