Job Summary
Medpace, a leading global Clinical Research Organization (CRO), is expanding rapidly and seeking a Clinical Data Coder to join the Clinical Coding & Support Team in Mumbai, India.
This role is ideal for individuals with a background in coding, pharmacy, or nursing who wish to apply their clinical knowledge in a data-driven research setting. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of clinical data that supports global drug development.
Key Responsibilities
Perform accurate coding of medical terms and medications using global standards such as MedDRA and WHO Drug dictionaries along with Medpace internal standards.
Coordinate and manage the assignment of appropriate coding dictionaries to meet study-specific requirements.
Develop, maintain, and update coding guidelines to ensure consistency across studies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, compliance, and timely delivery of coding outputs.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, or other advanced clinical disciplines.
Experience
Hands-on experience with MedDRA and WHO Drug dictionaries.
Prior experience in clinical trials, pharmaceutical, or CRO environments preferred.
Skills
Strong understanding of medical terminology and pharmacological classification.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
High attention to detail and ability to work within defined timelines.
