Job Summary

Medpace, a leading global Clinical Research Organization (CRO), is expanding rapidly and seeking a Clinical Data Coder to join the Clinical Coding & Support Team in Mumbai, India.
This role is ideal for individuals with a background in coding, pharmacy, or nursing who wish to apply their clinical knowledge in a data-driven research setting. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of clinical data that supports global drug development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate coding of medical terms and medications using global standards such as MedDRA and WHO Drug dictionaries along with Medpace internal standards.

  • Coordinate and manage the assignment of appropriate coding dictionaries to meet study-specific requirements.

  • Develop, maintain, and update coding guidelines to ensure consistency across studies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, compliance, and timely delivery of coding outputs.


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, or other advanced clinical disciplines.

Experience

  • Hands-on experience with MedDRA and WHO Drug dictionaries.

  • Prior experience in clinical trials, pharmaceutical, or CRO environments preferred.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and pharmacological classification.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • High attention to detail and ability to work within defined timelines.
