Job Overview

Fortrea is seeking Call Center Representatives to recruit volunteer participants for Phase 1 healthy volunteer studies. The role involves handling public inquiries, phone screening, scheduling appointments, and providing accurate study information to potential participants.


Key Responsibilities

1. Participant Recruitment & Communication

  • Receive and place calls to potential study participants.

  • Communicate study information clearly to potential participants.

  • Phone screen participants according to study-specific scripts.

  • Schedule and confirm screening appointments for qualified participants.

  • Liaise with the screening department to coordinate necessary participant information.

2. Data Entry & Administrative Tasks

  • Enter medical history and demographic information into computerized databases.

  • Respond to participant inquiries via Fortrea CRU email account.

  • Make recommendations for process improvements.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (USA).

  • 1–2 years of customer service or call center experience (USA).

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

  • Strong computer skills.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology.

  • Bilingual in Spanish.


Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Primarily office-based; regularly required to sit.

  • Must handle a fast-paced call center environment efficiently.
