Job Summary:

The Clinical Call Center Representative recruits volunteer participants for Phase 1 healthy volunteer studies. The role involves handling inquiries, phone screening, scheduling appointments, and maintaining participant records. Full-time, part-time, and on-call positions are available.

Training: 4 weeks on-site in Dallas, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CDT.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Participant Recruitment & Communication:

  • Receive and place calls to potential study participants.

  • Communicate study information and answer public inquiries.

  • Phone screen participants according to study-specific scripts.

  • Schedule and confirm screening appointments for qualified participants.

  • Make recommendations for process improvements.

  • Respond to participant inquiries via Fortrea CRU email account.

2. Data Entry & Coordination:

  • Enter medical history and demographic information of potential participants into computerized database.

  • Liaise with the screening department to coordinate necessary screening information.

3. Additional Duties:

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Requirements:

Education:

  • USA High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

  • 1–2 years of customer service or call center experience.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

  • Strong computer skills.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.


Physical Demands/Work Environment:

  • Regularly required to sit for extended periods.
