We are seeking a Clinical Research Director (CRD) for the Immunology & Inflammation (I&I) Therapeutic Area, with a strong focus on Rheumatology. This role will play a key part in developing innovative therapies for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, driving both clinical strategy and operational excellence.


Position Overview

The Clinical Research Director (CRD) is responsible for:

  • Designing and executing the clinical development plan (CDP) in alignment with project strategy.

  • Gaining governance endorsement and ensuring successful execution of clinical programs.

  • Advancing scientific and clinical knowledge in rheumatology and immunology.

  • Incorporating innovative methodologies and proactively driving study execution.


Main Responsibilities

  • Clinical Development Leadership

    • Lead the design, review, and execution of clinical development plans.

    • Ensure strategic alignment with overall project goals.

    • Collaborate with clinical operations teams to ensure high-quality study execution.

  • Scientific Advancement

    • Advance understanding of immunology and rheumatologic diseases.

    • Apply and integrate emerging scientific methodologies into study design.

    • Stay updated on therapeutic advances and regulatory trends.

  • Operational Excellence

    • Drive timely and efficient clinical study execution.

    • Partner across functions to maintain compliance with ICH/GCP and company SOPs.

    • Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration

    • Work with internal stakeholders (R&D, regulatory, operations) to achieve program milestones.

    • Engage with external experts, investigators, and advisory boards.

    • Represent the program in governance and scientific forums.
