Job Title: Client Relationship Manager - Life Sciences

Overview:
Cognizant is looking for an experienced Client Relationship Manager (CRM) to join the Health Life Sciences (HLS) business unit in Raleigh, NC. The CRM will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships, driving business growth, and overseeing the successful delivery of Life Sciences solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker who is adept at handling complex client accounts, managing P&L, and driving client satisfaction and account growth. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholders, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their environment, issues, and priorities.
  • Collaborate with clients to define challenges and co-create tailored solutions.
  • Lead RFPs, proactive bids, and manage renewals, extensions, and the expansion of existing agreements.
  • Track and analyze Health Life Sciences industry trends, providing proactive ideas and solutions to address client needs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring continuous communication and fostering a positive relationship.
  • Manage backlog growth, focusing on renewals, extensions, and the successful delivery of services.
  • Lead and guide onsite project teams, ensuring alignment with client expectations and environment.

Measures of Success:

  • CRM-specific metrics: renewal win rates, revenue growth, margin improvement.
  • Shared measures: client satisfaction, employee retention, overall account health.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in a client-facing role, preferably within a consulting firm or IT professional services (offshore/outsourcing industry).
  • Domain expertise in Health Life Sciences (HCLS), Health Sciences, Healthcare, and Pharmaceutical industries.
  • Experience managing Client P&L of $15 million+, including reporting and metric assessment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Strong background in project management and application development.
  • Proven ability to contribute to new business development and manage multiple tasks in dynamic environments.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle complex assignments and devise strategic solutions to business challenges.
  • Demonstrable flexibility in working across diverse corporate environments, industries, and technical/non-technical teams.
