Job Title: Certified Pharmacy Technician (Bilingual Spanish) – HELP Center Pharmacy

Position Overview

Maxor National Pharmacy Services is hiring a Full-Time Certified Pharmacy Technician for the HELP Center Pharmacy in Arlington, TX. This role offers a chance to work in a clinic-based pharmacy, delivering specialized care to the LGBTQ+ community and individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Join a compassionate team committed to improving health outcomes in a culturally inclusive environment.

Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (Monday-Thursday) and one Saturday (4 hours) per month.


About the HELP Center

Founded in 1994, the HELP Center addresses the unique health needs of marginalized populations, including LGBTQ+ individuals, HIV-positive patients, and at-risk communities. The organization is dedicated to providing accessible, culturally sensitive care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and process prescription orders.

  • Provide empathetic and effective customer service.

  • Operate the cash register and assist with inventory stocking.

  • Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy.

  • Enter customer information into the system accurately.

  • Answer phone inquiries and support pharmacy operations.


Qualifications

Education & Certification:

  • Current PTCB Certification or ability to obtain national certification within six months (support provided by Maxor).

Experience:

  • 2+ years of retail pharmacy experience (HIV/AIDS clinical experience preferred).

  • Knowledge of specialty disease states like HIV, Hepatitis C, and Autoimmune disorders.

Skills:

  • Strong computer skills and attention to detail.

  • Proven customer service excellence and a friendly personality.

  • Ability to work independently and with diverse populations.

  • Bilingual Spanish proficiency required.

Preferred:

  • Connection to or understanding of the LGBTQ+ community.
