Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 9 years of experience in business development, with a proven track record of driving growth and building strong client relationships. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and contributing to the overall success and expansion of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities across various sectors, including healthcare, pharmaceutical, and clinical research.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and deal closure.
  • Develop and execute business strategies that align with company goals and drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored solutions for clients and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and sales pitches to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with clients to close deals while ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Track and report on sales performance, pipeline status, and key business development metrics.
  • Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance the company's visibility and expand the client base.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • 7-9 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in healthcare, clinical research, or a similar industry.
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute business strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Proven experience in managing and building client relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market trends and competitor activities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
