Job Summary:

As a Biometrics Delivery Lead (DL) at Parexel, you will take overall accountability for the execution of Data Operations strategy and technology setup on global clinical trial projects. Reporting to the Global Biometrics Account Lead (AL) or Global Biometrics Group Lead (GBGL), you will lead cross-functional data teams, manage project timelines and budgets, ensure quality and compliance, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding biometrics delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Data Operations Leadership:

  • Lead the strategy and execution of Data Operations across projects/programs.

  • Ensure successful implementation of all technical and non-technical systems.

  • Coordinate dependencies across Data Management, Programming, and Biostatistics functions.

  • Support enforcement of data standards and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

  • Serve as escalation point and technical expert for project issues.

Project Management:

  • Own and drive project timeline creation and execution for all GDO deliverables.

  • Participate in proposals and bid defenses; provide input and attend client meetings when needed.

  • Coordinate closely with Project Leaders (PL) and Project Managers (PM) on planning, resource allocation, and tool setup.

  • Ensure that all team members have required access to documentation and systems.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Attend and actively participate in project kickoff and other strategic meetings.

  • Foster strong working relationships with functional leaders, internal stakeholders, and clients.

  • Ensure review of draft protocols from a Data Operations perspective.

  • Monitor and ensure delivery from technology/data integration teams where applicable.

Team Management and Leadership:

  • Provide leadership and motivation to global teams within Data Management, Programming, and Biostatistics.

  • Communicate project metrics and KPIs; guide teams towards meeting objectives.

  • Support team access to tools and documents needed to succeed.

  • Collaborate with the wider Biometrics and functional teams to resolve issues and maintain standards.


Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

  • Experience:

    • Several years in CRO, Pharma, or Biotech.

    • Proven leadership in technical/project environments with minimal supervision.

    • Strong grasp of cross-functional and clinical data management activities.

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or industry-related discipline.

  • Skills:

    • Project management skills (presentation, public speaking, critical thinking).

    • Fluent English communication.

    • Strong organizational and prioritization capabilities.

    • Understanding of ICH-GCP, SOPs/guidelines, and clinical data standards.

    • Ability to lead virtual, multicultural teams.

    • Strong negotiation and diplomacy skills.
