The Opportunity

We are seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to serve as the face of Teva Canada Medical Affairs. In this field-based role, you will:

  • Act as a scientific expert and lead scientific exchanges with External Experts (EEs).
  • Educate healthcare providers (HCPs) on Teva Canada products in therapeutic areas such as Central Nervous System (CNS) disorders, including migraine and movement disorders.
  • Ensure the dissemination of scientifically rigorous information to promote the safe and appropriate use of Teva products.
  • Support internal, cross-functional initiatives, and provide training to Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs teams.

Responsibilities

External Engagement

  • Provide unbiased medical and scientific information to HCPs, including disease state topics and safe use of Teva products.
  • Deliver educational and scientific presentations to EEs and HCPs at advisory boards, speaker training meetings, and other forums.
  • Build peer-to-peer relationships with EEs and HCPs to deepen scientific understanding of Teva products and foster partnership opportunities.

Internal Collaboration

  • Demonstrate expertise during Medical Affairs training events (e.g., journal clubs, teleconferences, and data review meetings).
  • Provide scientific insights to support Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional teams.

Research Support

  • Contribute to research initiatives, including TCI-sponsored trials, investigator-sponsored studies, and Health Economics and Outcomes Research.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Education: MD, PhD, or PharmD.
  • Language: Bilingual (fluent in English and French).
  • Experience: At least 1 year in neurology or psychiatry in a similar Medical Affairs role is preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of pharmaceutical industry practices and standard medical practices in the assigned therapeutic areas.
