Role Overview

The Associate Manager will contribute to the development of high-quality medical affairs content, under supervision. This includes abstracts, manuscripts, congress presentations, systematic literature reviews, plain language summaries, slide decks, infographics, videos, and other external-facing content.

The role requires collaboration across multiple teams and adherence to compliance, quality, and project timelines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop medical content: abstracts, manuscripts, posters, slide decks, graphical abstracts, systematic reviews, infographics, videos, social media, and other communication material.

  • Research, organize, interpret, and perform quality checks on medical/technical content.

  • Provide content solutions aligned with project managers and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Graphics, Statistics, Compliance, etc.).

  • Ensure project delivery within expected timelines, maintaining compliance and quality.

  • Gain training on tools and platforms, including AI-based technologies for efficient content development.

  • Track and report project progress, resolve issues with guidance from manager.

  • Identify, learn, and become an expert in one new content creation tool/skill reflecting industry trends.


Basic Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific degree: MS, MRes, MPharm, PhD, PharmD, MBBS/MD

  • Minimum 2+ years experience in pharmaceutical medicine (medical affairs, compliance, etc.)

  • Ability to take ownership and align with senior colleagues on timelines and quality expectations

  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-cultural stakeholders

  • Experience in medical content writing (academic, agency, CRO, Pharma/Biotech)

  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) with flexibility for different communication contexts

  • Team player with understanding of technology applications in medical content development


Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in assigned therapeutic areas

  • Prior experience in medical content creation

  • Exposure to multimedia and omnichannel content

  • Quick adoption of new digital tools and technology

  • International educational or professional experience
