Role Overview
The Associate – Scientific Writing will support the development and review of scientifically accurate, compliant, and high-quality medical and promotional content across therapeutic areas. This role is ideal for early-career medical and scientific professionals seeking hands-on exposure to global pharmaceutical communications, regulatory standards, and client-facing projects.
Key Responsibilities
Review medical and promotional communication materials to ensure scientific accuracy, medical relevance, balance, and regulatory compliance
Develop, update, and refine content for a wide range of medical deliverables in alignment with client guidelines and pharmaceutical regulations
Conduct literature searches to identify credible, up-to-date references supporting scientific content development
Track, audit, and maintain documentation for medical assets as required for quality and compliance purposes
Deliver high-quality content within assigned timelines while meeting defined client satisfaction and quality metrics
Follow departmental best practices related to processes, documentation, communication, and content standards
Apply internal SOPs, tools, platforms, and workflow guidelines consistently across all assigned projects
Participate in internal training programs, project-related assignments, and client calls as required
Ensure strict adherence to quality, confidentiality, data security, and compliance policies
Required Qualifications & Experience
Educational Qualification: MD, MDS, MBBS (with relevant experience), PhD, or Postdoctoral qualification preferred
Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in pharmaceutical companies, medical communications agencies, or medical review roles
Prior exposure to the medical review or scientific writing domain is strongly preferred
Understanding of at least one specialty area of medicine or a strong foundational understanding of medical sciences
