Associate Project Manager – Training and Communication

Role Overview

The Associate Project Manager – Training and Communication plays a key role in managing end-to-end training programs, global learning initiatives, communication workflows, and operational excellence across therapeutic areas. This position supports business operations through structured project management, training execution, data governance, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen global medical capabilities.

About the Team

This role is part of the Business Operations (BO) function, a centralized global support division enabling Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, Contract Manufacturing, R&D, Data, and Digital functions. BO partners closely with Medical, HEVA, and Commercial teams to deliver high-quality, scalable operational support across Sanofi’s global network.

Key Responsibilities

Training Program Management

  • Lead end-to-end training projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.

  • Prepare and maintain annual training calendars and ensure alignment with therapeutic area requirements.

  • Coordinate global learning programs, workshops, and certification processes.

  • Manage onboarding documentation and learning resources for new team members.

  • Execute global train-the-trainer sessions and support content delivery.

Training Operations & Execution

  • Schedule training sessions, organize webinars, manage panelists, create satisfaction surveys, and coordinate Q&A.

  • Host training events, manage session recordings, launch polls, and ensure proper documentation.

  • Archive training materials, recordings, and documentation in designated SharePoint repositories.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work with internal global and country stakeholders, including Medical Leads, SMEs, Medical Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory, Legal, Finance, and Digital teams.

  • Engage external partners, vendors, and HUB teams for development and delivery of training solutions.

  • Maintain strong relationships with training networks and cross-functional teams.

Learning Systems & Data Management (iLearn)

  • Manage training creation and curriculum setup through iLearn and associated portals.

  • Oversee learner assignments, training groups, and data accuracy.

  • Coordinate eBlasts and communications related to iLearn deployment.

  • Track training metrics, attendance, knowledge checks, and performance indicators.

  • Maintain master files, distribution lists, and training records across systems.

Project and Process Management

  • Lead end-to-end project processes ensuring quality, timelines, and compliance with global standards.

  • Manage KPIs across assigned projects and ensure timely delivery.

  • Support continuous improvements, adoption of digital learning tools, and optimized training methodologies.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 8–9 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 2 years in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.

  • Strong background in project management, training operations, or communication functions.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency in digital learning methodologies and medical training frameworks.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in Science; MBA preferred.

  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in global matrix environments.

  • Knowledge of medical strategy, therapeutic areas, disease education, or product training.

  • High learning agility and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
