Syneos Health is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Associate Project Manager – HEOR & Market Access to support payer-focused value communication and evidence generation initiatives. This role is critical in developing high-quality HEOR deliverables, including AMCP dossiers and value communication materials, for clients across the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors.

The position is ideal for professionals with 5+ years of HEOR or market access experience who have strong scientific writing capabilities and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, consulting-driven environment supporting U.S. payer evidence requirements.

Key Responsibilities

HEOR Evidence Generation & Value Communication

  • Lead or support the development, maintenance, and updating of AMCP dossiers (Format v5.0) by synthesizing clinical, economic, and humanistic evidence for U.S. payer audiences.

  • Conduct targeted literature searches and prepare structured evidence summaries on disease burden, epidemiology, clinical landscape, unmet needs, and product value.

  • Support evidence synthesis activities, including focused and systematic literature reviews, to inform payer-facing communications.

Market Access Deliverables

  • Contribute to the development of value communication assets such as Global Value Dossiers (GVDs), reimbursement dossiers, and payer-focused slide decks.

  • Collect, review, and analyze U.S.-specific data inputs required for health economic models, burden-of-illness studies, and value narratives.

  • Translate complex clinical, economic, and outcomes data into clear, concise, and scientifically accurate content for internal and external stakeholders.

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage individual workload to ensure on-time delivery aligned with project milestones and client expectations.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional HEOR and market access teams to support day-to-day project execution.

  • Provide quality oversight and guidance to junior team members to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to internal standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Master’s degree or higher in Public Health, Health Economics, Pharmacy, Epidemiology, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HEOR, market access, or payer-focused medical writing, preferably within a consulting or pharmaceutical environment.

  • Strong understanding of HEOR principles, including cost-effectiveness analysis, outcomes research, and payer evidence requirements.

  • Excellent scientific writing, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables in a deadline-driven consulting environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in AMCP dossier development, Global Value Dossiers (GVDs), and manuscript writing.

  • Familiarity with U.S. payer systems, reimbursement pathways, and health technology assessment (HTA) expectations.
