Job Title: Associate Medical Writer

Position Summary

As an Associate Medical Writer at Novo Nordisk, you will contribute to the development of key clinical documents, including study protocols, study reports, and investigator’s brochures. The role also involves facilitating reviews, literature searches, and supporting global medical affairs activities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Moderate discussions and facilitate meetings for study protocols and reports.

  • Coordinate document version reviews and approval processes.

  • Ensure clinical documents are audit-ready.

  • Conduct and summarize systematic literature searches.

  • Support internal/external medical and marketing events (e.g., expert meetings, conferences).

  • Prepare the following medical documents:

    • Study protocols and non-interventional study reports

    • Investigator’s brochures

    • Abstracts, congress posters, and presentations

    • Publication proposals (as per NN template)

  • Foster strong working relationships with stakeholders and global teams.

  • Promote continuous improvements and knowledge sharing.


Qualifications

  • Degree in life sciences, medical, or pharmaceutical field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical writing (clinical and non-interventional documents).

  • Solid understanding of real-world studies and therapy areas like diabetes, obesity, or MASH.

  • Skilled in literature searches and data summarization.

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and documentation standards.

  • Proficiency in developing abstracts, posters, and presentations.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and document management skills.

  • Experience with audit-preparedness and clinical documentation workflows.
