About the Role:

As an Associate Manager for the EU REACH team, you will lead and manage regulatory compliance activities, ensuring adherence to EU REACH regulations and global chemical compliance standards. This role involves regulatory strategy, data management, team leadership, and stakeholder collaboration to drive compliance and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance & Strategy:

  • Ensure 100% adherence to country-specific compliance regulations with no deviations.

  • Monitor and evaluate regulatory changes, integrating them into product strategies.

  • Facilitate knowledge transfer on regulatory affairs in response to evolving business needs.

Data Management & Documentation:

  • Establish and track KPIs for the Regulatory Affairs team.

  • Approve SOPs and process changes related to regulatory compliance.

  • Drive process improvements and cross-functional collaboration.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the team for consistent high performance.

  • Provide guidance, training, and workload distribution to ensure efficiency.

  • Ensure transparent communication between global and local teams.

  • Drive change management and seamless organizational transitions.

  • Identify strategic growth areas and expand business opportunities.

  • Lead organizational initiatives and high-impact projects.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Serve as the liaison between global teams and local organizations.

  • Work closely with global counterparts to align regulatory goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Natural Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.

  • Experience: 8-12 years in Regulatory Affairs, including leadership experience managing teams.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of EU REACH regulations, GHS, and compliance processes.

  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency with regulatory submission software and data management systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with global chemical regulatory frameworks.

  • Certification in Regulatory Affairs or REACH Compliance is an advantage.
