About the Role

A leading global information solutions organization is hiring an Associate Content Editor to support the maintenance and enhancement of the Pivot-RP researcher profile database, a comprehensive platform featuring millions of academic and research profiles worldwide.

This role is ideal for professionals interested in academic research intelligence, higher education data analysis, metadata management, and institutional profiling. The position involves analyzing university websites, validating researcher information, resolving metadata discrepancies, and ensuring high-quality institutional data integrity.


Experience Required

  • 1–3 years of experience in:

    • Academic content research

    • Data curation or metadata management

    • Institutional profiling or research analytics

    • Website data analysis

Fresh graduates with strong research aptitude and demonstrated interest in higher education research ecosystems may also be considered.


Key Responsibilities

As an Associate Content Editor, you will:

  • Research and extract faculty and researcher biographical data from university websites

  • Maintain and update researcher profiles within the Pivot-RP database

  • Ensure high levels of accuracy, productivity, and data consistency

  • Identify, analyze, and correct metadata errors reported by internal teams and clients

  • Evaluate website structures for manual updates and potential automation improvements

  • Work proactively to enhance customer satisfaction regarding institutional profile quality

  • Collaborate with team members to improve workflows and optimize processes

  • Participate in discussions focused on process enhancement and data accuracy

  • Coordinate with colleagues to understand and validate institutional profile attributes


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Demonstrable understanding of higher education institutions, faculties, departments, and research centers

  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate, reconcile, and structure data

  • Excellent research, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams

  • Effective time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to meet productivity benchmarks and quality KPIs


Work Environment & Schedule

  • Full-time position

  • Hybrid work model

  • Standard schedule: Monday to Friday

  • 45 hours per week (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST)

  • Occasional mandatory overtime may be required

  • Flexibility needed for global collaboration
