Join IQVIA’s Cardiovascular, Renal, and Metabolic (CVRM) team as an Associate Clinical Project Director, contributing your expertise to a growing Obesity-focused portfolio. In this leadership role, you will manage the operational execution of clinical studies and programs from pre-award to close-out, ensuring quality, timelines, and profitability.
✅ Obesity therapeutic area experience is required.
Participate in bid defense preparation and presentations for large, global, full-service, multi-country/multi-regional studies.
Translate project strategy into actionable operational plans.
Develop and support integrated study management plans in collaboration with the core team.
Serve as primary oversight/contact for customers and manage the relationship with key client stakeholders.
Ensure studies are delivered on-time, within budget, and to quality standards in alignment with SOPs and contractual obligations.
Lead or oversee clinical project execution from start to finish.
Ensure use of study tools, systems, and standard processes across all projects.
Forecast and identify opportunities to accelerate timelines or increase efficiency.
Set and communicate clear objectives and performance expectations for the core project team.
Provide feedback, leadership, and performance management support to project team members.
Supervise and resolve project risks, contingencies, and issues proactively.
Implement risk mitigation plans and corrective actions when necessary.
Manage project financials to ensure profitability and proper resource allocation.
Identify and implement strategies to optimize delivery speed and cost-efficiency.
Forecast project milestones and associated revenue generation opportunities.
Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or a related field preferred
(Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
10+ years of clinical research experience
6+ years of project management experience, including global/multi-regional projects
Direct experience in managing Obesity studies or programs is required
Recognized as an expert in clinical project management by peers
Strong leadership and strategic decision-making abilities
Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills
Demonstrated ability to manage project risks, timelines, and budgets
High level of customer focus and relationship-building with sponsors
Familiarity with clinical trial systems, tools, and quality/compliance standards

Base Salary Range (Annualized):
$102,500 – $285,500 USD
Actual base pay may vary depending on job-related qualifications, experience, location, and schedule (full-time/part-time).
