Overview

Sanofi is seeking an Associate – HEVA (Evidence Synthesis) to support global health economics and value assessment activities across a diverse therapeutic portfolio. This role plays a critical part in generating high-quality evidence that strengthens value propositions for markets worldwide, including the United States.

As part of Sanofi Business Operations (SBO) in India, you will contribute to evidence development supporting Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, Consumer Healthcare, Contract Manufacturing, R&D, and Digital functions. This is a strategic and operational role focused on innovation, value communication, and cross-functional collaboration.


Key Responsibilities

Evidence Generation & Research Support

  • Assist HEVA teams in assigned therapy areas to design and generate robust health economics and value-based evidence.

  • Support quality research projects, economic modelling, trial design recommendations, and global/US value strategies.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance HEVA evidence generation processes and increase impact on reimbursement and access decisions.

  • Develop and maintain therapeutic area expertise.

Performance & Delivery

  • Contribute to pre-launch, launch, and post-launch evidence generation plans for investigational and marketed products.

  • Support studies involving epidemiology, burden of illness, literature reviews, meta-analysis, retrospective and prospective observational research, economic evaluations, and patient-reported outcomes.

  • Assist with development of Core Value Dossiers (CVDs), AMCP dossiers, and other strategic deliverables.

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external experts for research execution.

Process & Compliance

  • Contribute to HEVA strategic evidence materials across therapy areas.

  • Support development of templates, processes, and standardized documents aligned with HEVA and global value messages.

  • Ensure compliance with evidence generation guidelines and internal standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with HEVA, RWE, Clinical, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, and regional teams to understand evidence needs and develop tailored outputs.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with global stakeholders across time zones.


Required Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HEOR (Health Economics and Outcomes Research) within:

    • Pharmaceutical industry

    • CRO/consultancy

    • Academic research

Education

  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Public Health, Biostatistics, Economics, Health Outcomes, or a related discipline.

  • Medical degree is also acceptable.

Skills

  • Strong analytical abilities to translate clinical and economic data into evidence-based payer strategies.

  • Excellent scientific writing and communication skills.

  • Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Ability to work independently and within global teams.

Languages

  • Excellent proficiency in English (spoken and written).
