Job Summary:
Cencora is hiring an Assistant Pharmacist at its Bengaluru depot to support clinical distribution operations. This role includes shipment release, inventory handling, compliance with local health regulations, and assisting the Depot Pharmacist with operational and quality assurance responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Release shipments for distribution under the supervision of the Depot Pharmacist

  • Verify and sign operational jobs with oversight from Depot Manager or Clinical Team Leader

  • Manage product status changes (physically and in systems) per client instructions and internal guidelines

  • Perform quality checks on relabeling processes when authorized

  • Provide protocol-related instructions to depot staff

  • Act as Deputy Depot Pharmacist when required

  • Ensure compliance with ICH, GMP, GDP, GCP, and local health regulations

  • Perform Depot Self-Inspections to ensure facility integrity and SOP adherence

  • Support a safe, compliant, and efficient depot environment in all operations

  • Identify and report scheduling or personnel-related issues affecting workflow


Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Pharmacy or equivalent tertiary qualification as per local regulations

  • Prior experience in warehouse operations and/or pharmaceutical dispensing preferred


Required Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Initiative-taking and problem-solving mindset

  • Basic understanding of import/export regulations and documentation

  • Good numeracy and attention to detail

  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Strong written and spoken English

  • Ability to work independently and under time-sensitive workloads

  • Calm, customer-focused, and flexible attitude


Estimated Salary: ₹2.5–3.5 LPA (based on assistant-level pharmacy roles in logistics/pharma operations in Bengaluru)
