Position Summary

Pfizer is seeking an Assistant Associate to support warehouse operations, inventory management, material movement, and supply chain activities within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. The role plays a critical part in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of materials and finished goods while maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations & Material Management

  • Support the movement of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods within manufacturing and warehouse facilities.

  • Operate material handling equipment such as:

    • Forklifts

    • Conveyors

    • Cranes

    • Hand carts

    • Power trucks

  • Ensure accurate material receipt, storage, issuance, and distribution.

  • Maintain inventory records and support warehouse transactions through computerized inventory systems.


2. Inventory Control & Documentation

  • Complete documentation related to:

    • Inventory movement

    • Material receipts

    • Storage activities

    • Distribution records

  • Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with cGMP requirements.

  • Maintain audit-ready records and inventory traceability.

  • Utilize warehouse management systems for inventory tracking and reconciliation.


3. Supply Chain & Process Support

  • Contribute to team deliverables through effective coordination and collaboration.

  • Support workflow planning and prioritization of assigned tasks.

  • Identify opportunities to improve:

    • Efficiency

    • Throughput

    • Material flow

    • Operational quality

  • Assist in troubleshooting warehouse and process-related issues.


4. Compliance, Quality & Safety

  • Adhere to:

    • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

    • Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)

    • Quality Management Systems

    • Safety Procedures

  • Participate in:

    • Internal audits

5. Technical & Operational Support

  • Provide technical support for warehouse and hi-rise storage operations.

  • Resolve operational and inventory-related issues.

  • Work effectively as part of a cross-functional operations team.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma
    OR

  • Graduation in any discipline

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in:

    • Warehouse Operations

    • Inventory Management

    • Supply Chain Operations

    • Manufacturing Support Functions
