 Purpose:

To support ongoing and new pharmaceutical projects by providing analytical support in method development, validation, transfer, testing, and troubleshooting—aligned with the organization's goals and compliance requirements.


 Key Responsibilities:

Analytical Support & Instrumentation

  • Operate, qualify, calibrate, and maintain instruments: HPLC, FTIR, GC, UV, LC-MS, GC-MS, Dissolution Tester, etc.

  • Perform method development for small molecules and solid oral dosage forms.

  • Develop advanced chromatographic methods, including for genotoxic impurities.

  • Create stability-indicating methods for drug substance/product.

  • Conduct dissolution method development and IVIVC correlation.

Validation & Transfers

  • Validate analytical methods in line with global standards (ICH/EU).

  • Conduct method transfer from R&D to QC at manufacturing sites.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare and review SOPs, specifications, STPs, protocols, and technical reports.

  • Evaluate data and ensure procedural and regulatory compliance.

  • Identify analytical issues and recommend scientifically sound solutions.

Regulatory Knowledge & Audits

  • Maintain compliance with GMP, GLP, GDP, and HSE standards.

  • Support internal and external audits.


 Required Knowledge & Skills:

Technical Competencies

  • Expertise in analytical method development and impurity profiling.

  • Experience with nitrosamines, NDSRIs, and genotoxic impurities.

  • Knowledge of analytical method lifecycle management, qualification of critical reagents, and use of reference standards.

  • Familiarity with USP, EP, IP, and global compendial regulations.

  • Skilled in technical writing for protocols, validation reports, SOPs.

Software Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.

Communication

  • Strong verbal and written communication in English.


 Qualifications:

  • M.Sc. / M.Pharm / Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or Analytical Chemistry.

 Experience:

  • 4–10 years of relevant experience in analytical development.

  • Hands-on expertise in operating sophisticated analytical equipment.
