Compensation: $133,900 to $231,400 per year (based on geographic market and candidate experience)

Position Summary:
The Senior Sustainability Technical Program Manager (TPM) will play a critical role in defining and implementing product line strategies and initiatives to help Amazon's Devices business areas achieve decarbonization and reach net-zero emissions. This role involves developing and executing sustainability programs that deliver measurable environmental benefits, with a focus on the hardware and product development aspects. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in sustainability or hardware development to drive actionable initiatives for devices products.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leadership to set the sustainability strategy and make high-judgment trade-offs between features and sustainability goals.

  • Manage the entire product life cycle, from strategic planning to tactical execution, in collaboration with cross-functional teams (engineering, product management, etc.).

  • Establish sustainability goals and metrics to identify opportunities and track progress.

  • Research and innovate new opportunities for sustainability improvements on behalf of customers.

  • Anticipate and resolve bottlenecks, manage risk, and balance business needs with technical constraints.


Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.

  • 5+ years of experience in technical product or program management.

  • Proven track record in managing cross-functional programs, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk management, and critical path management.

  • Experience in managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules.

  • Strong experience in roadmap strategy and definition.
