The X-ray Lab Technician position at Pediatric Associates in Pembroke Pines, FL offers a part-time schedule, working every Saturday (8:00 am to 8:00 pm) and Sunday (11:00 am to 5:00 pm).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic medical x-rays, following proper techniques and procedures.
  • Conduct laboratory testing across various fields including Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Serology, Microbiology, and Spirometry.
  • Perform phlebotomy tasks (venipuncture, finger sticks, heel sticks).
  • Report laboratory results accurately and promptly to healthcare clinicians.
  • Perform quality control checks and maintain lab supplies.
  • Report critical findings in radiology and laboratory reports.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate degree and graduation from a Radiology program (RT or BMO).
  • Licensing: CPR, Florida Department of Health Radiologic Technologist License (RT or BMO), Phlebotomy certification required.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience with x-rays in a healthcare setting; laboratory and phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of diagnostic x-rays, lab quality control, phlebotomy, medical terminology, and patient safety protocols.
