About the Role:
Lupin is seeking an accomplished Vice President – Medical Services with 15–20 years of experience in medical affairs, healthcare strategy, and clinical oversight. The role requires strategic leadership to drive medical service excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, support product positioning, and provide scientific guidance to internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor global developments in medical research, publications, and industry trends to identify potential opportunities and share insights with business teams.

  • Ensure all marketing and promotional materials are medically accurate and comply with legal and regulatory standards, recommending modifications as needed.

  • Conceptualize and conduct surveys, studies, and field research in collaboration with marketing teams to assess product understanding and disease awareness among healthcare professionals.

  • Review product labels, artwork, and claims for new launches to ensure adherence to regulatory and patient safety guidelines.

  • Provide technical and regulatory inputs for evaluating new alliance partners and incorporating products into the IRF portfolio.

  • Lead the review and approval of all medical communications across channels, including digital marketing platforms.

  • Develop promotional materials and visual aids while ensuring zero trademark violations.

  • Establish and oversee corporate gifting policies, including inspection and approval of gifts offered to healthcare professionals.

  • Lead meetings with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), capturing inputs to support product positioning and medical strategy.

  • Oversee creation, review, and approval of training materials for new product launches and coordinate training programs with marketing and training teams.

  • Manage field query resolution processes, ensuring accurate responses to healthcare professional inquiries.

  • Maintain a system for screening, archiving, and retrieving product-related information to support marketing and regulatory needs.

  • Provide inputs for external committee presentations and participate in approval meetings as required.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a medical services team, setting goals, driving performance, and fostering talent development.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in Medicine (MD or equivalent)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (MBBS or equivalent)
