Job Overview

As a Retail/Community Pharmacist in Redding, CA, you will be part of a supportive and dynamic team dedicated to excellent patient care. This role involves traveling between different retail pharmacy locations, ensuring seamless care with top-tier systems and support.


Shift & Schedule

  • Shift Length: 12 hours

  • Shift Times: 7 AM to 7 PM (variable schedule)

  • Duration: Flexible day, night, or weekend shifts available

Job Responsibilities

  • Interpret, clarify, and process new and refill prescriptions to ensure accuracy and patient safety.

  • Maintain current knowledge of medications, healthcare concepts, and pharmacy regulations.

  • Oversee preparation and final checks of medications for accuracy and compliance.

  • Provide patient support and medication therapy recommendations.

  • Complete documentation for incident reports, controlled substances, and operational needs.

  • Assist with operational tasks as requested to support the team.


Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s or Doctorate in Pharmacy from an accredited college or university.

  • Experience:

    • Proficiency with pharmacy data entry systems.

    • Retail pharmacy experience preferred.

  • Licensure:

    • Active pharmacy license in the state of California.
