Job Description:

ALOIS Healthcare is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist for a travel assignment in Grants Pass, OR. This role will involve reviewing prescriptions, compounding, and dispensing prescribed drugs according to regulatory guidelines in a retail pharmacy setting. The Clinical Pharmacist will also provide consultations to customers on drug safety, potential interactions, and medication use.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and legality.
Compound and dispense medications according to prescribed directions and regulations.
Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential drug interactions, and safety precautions.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
Assist in managing pharmacy inventory and stock levels.
Answer questions from customers regarding medications and their effects.
Monitor and ensure the accuracy of prescription preparation and distribution.
Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy for patients.

Qualifications:

Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
Licensure: Active Pharmacist license in the state of Oregon or ability to obtain licensure.
Experience: Previous clinical pharmacy experience in a retail or healthcare setting preferred.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in medication dispensing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of drug safety, interactions, and pharmacology.

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay Package: Competitive, based on 40 hours/week and 8-hour shifts (subject to confirmation).
Stipend: Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
