Job Summary
Amgen, a global leader in biotechnology and pharmaceutical innovation, is hiring a Transition Management Senior Manager at its Hyderabad, India location. This role involves leading transition planning, business integration, issue management, and risk assessment across cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless process transfers from global locations, particularly U.S. to India. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management expertise, analytical ability, and excellent stakeholder communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Transition team to establish business integration strategies.
Develop and implement transition plans with cross-functional collaboration.
Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders for smooth transition processes.
Establish risk management frameworks and contingency plans.
Define success metrics, track progress, and report performance to leadership.
Maintain complete and up-to-date documentation of all transition activities.
Conduct regular and post-transition reviews to identify and implement improvements.
Assist the Director in refining processes for multi-location transitions.
Ensure adherence to transition and project management best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 14+ years of professional experience.
Minimum 10 years in transition management or project management.
Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (MS Project, JIRA).
Familiarity with Smartsheet, PowerBI, MS Office.
Prior experience handling U.S. to India corporate knowledge transfers.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience managing complex, large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects.
PMP, CSM, or Agile certifications preferred.
Leadership, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
