Study Participant Recruiter – Early Phase Clinical Research (San Antonio, TX)

Job Summary:
ICON plc, a global leader in healthcare intelligence and clinical research, is hiring a Study Participant Recruiter for its early-phase clinical research operations in San Antonio, TX. In this full-time, on-site role, you will lead participant recruitment efforts and help ensure successful clinical trial execution. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans using databases, community outreach, and social media platforms

  • Screen potential participants for study eligibility based on protocol-specific criteria and medical history

  • Educate prospective participants about the clinical trial process and address questions or concerns

  • Collaborate with study teams to ensure timely recruitment and meet enrollment goals

  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and communicate updates to internal teams


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, public health, healthcare administration, or a related field

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in clinical research or the healthcare industry preferred

  • Familiarity with ICH-GCP guidelines and FDA regulations

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage a diverse population

  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently under deadlines

  • Scientific or medical knowledge is a plus
