Study Director Manager - Genetic Toxicology

Position Overview:

Labcorp is seeking a Study Director Manager to lead a team of Study Directors and Study Coordinators within the Genetic Toxicology department. This role involves managing study design, execution, and scientific oversight while ensuring regulatory compliance and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Study Directors and Study Coordinators in Genetic Toxicology.
  • Act as a Senior Study Director when required.
  • Oversee the design, conduct, interpretation, analysis, and reporting of Genetic Toxicology studies (both standard and non-standard).
  • Plan and allocate workloads for Study Directors/Coordinators.
  • Take on Test Facility Management responsibilities at the local department level.
  • Lead scientific improvement initiatives and manage novel assay types.
  • Build and maintain client relationships and enhance the department’s external scientific profile.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Significant experience in Genetic Toxicology assays.
  • MSc or PhD in a relevant scientific field preferred.
  • Skilled in scientific presentations and publications.
  • Ability to travel independently and represent the company at professional meetings.
  • Strong attention to detail, scientific analysis, and regulatory expertise.
  • Proven team leadership, coaching, and mentoring experience.
  • Previous experience in Study Directing and people management.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • GxP knowledge and regulatory understanding.
