🎯 Purpose of the Role

Bayer is committed to its mission: "Health for All, Hunger for None." As part of this effort, we’re expanding our Women’s Healthcare team. The Sr. Sales Specialist – WHC will:

  • Manage the Intrauterine Devices (IUDs) business portfolio

  • Support the launch of a new retail therapy

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive clinical demand, sales, and education

This role is a key member of the Area Customer Squad, reporting to the WHC Area General Manager (AGM) and working closely with teams in Marketing, Medical, Contracting, Market Access, and Patient Services.


🛠️ Key Responsibilities

  • Drive demand through clinical education and training for Bayer’s Women’s Health products

  • Develop and execute a territory-specific sales and education plan

  • Monitor and improve contract performance and execute pull-through initiatives

  • Identify and address account needs; deliver compelling product messaging

  • Utilize data platforms and maintain documentation in Veeva iRep

  • Understand and communicate clinical data, pricing, access, and referral networks

  • Stay informed on competitive landscape and claims data

  • Maintain compliance with Bayer's Code of Conduct and training requirements

  • Manage territory budget including professional education, conferences, etc.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS)

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills

  • Strategic thinker with analytical problem-solving ability

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% (territory-based)


Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales experience in medical devices or pharmaceuticals

  • Experience in Ob/Gyn specialty

  • Knowledge of:

    • Healthcare systems and payer landscape

    • Commercial and government channels

    • Compliance and healthcare regulations

  • Ability to create and analyze financial models


💼 Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $112,000 – $168,000 (based on experience, location, etc.)

  • Additional Compensation: Bonus or commission (if applicable)
