Job Summary

Amgen is seeking an experienced Sr. Manager – Patient Access & Reimbursement AIN Lead to join its on-site Hyderabad operations. In this strategic leadership role, you will contribute to shaping a best-in-class patient support program, focusing on Learning & Development, Quality, and Training initiatives. This role is pivotal in enhancing Amgen’s patient hubs, with a focus on process innovation, global collaboration, and technical excellence in reimbursement and access services.

This position offers the opportunity to lead transformative projects and play a key role in cross-functional coordination between global and US-based teams within a leading biotech organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead quality checks for Amgen SupportPlus and Tezspire Together Patient Support Programs

  • Collaborate with U.S.-based Hub Operations, Safety, PV, and Compliance teams

  • Drive improvements in process, training, and compliance across global patient access teams

  • Provide subject matter expertise in technical writing for hub resource documentation

  • Set and implement best practices in hub operations aligned with industry standards

  • Manage learning and development strategies in partnership with senior stakeholders

  • Drive cross-functional initiatives that accelerate patient access and reimbursement outcomes

  • Evaluate business challenges and deliver innovative, scalable solutions

  • Ensure excellence in training, audit readiness, and operational policy enforcement


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Science

  • 12+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry

  • Minimum 5 years in patient access or reimbursement

  • Strong background in call center compliance, training, and audit functions

  • Deep understanding of patient assistance programs and reimbursement systems

  • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams and matrixed environments

  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to think critically and implement solutions in ambiguous situations

  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities
