Job Summary:
Vantive is hiring a Senior Lab Analyst (Microbiology) for a 1-Year Contract position in Singapore. This role involves performing essential microbiological testing on raw materials, cleanroom environments, water, and final products to ensure quality standards are met for vital organ therapies. The candidate will also support sterilization studies, equipment validation, and contribute to laboratory improvement projects. Ideal for professionals passionate about microbiology in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process materials, and final pharmaceutical products.
Perform cleanroom environment testing, including microbiological air, surface, and particulate matter assessments.
Execute testing of water and final products such as Bioburden and Bacterial Endotoxin Tests.
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure qualification and validation of test procedures.
Support and perform sterilization studies including steam qualification.
Participate in improvement projects, such as microbiological media qualification.
Ensure strict compliance with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) procedures and standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related science field.
Experience in microbiological testing and cleanroom monitoring in a pharmaceutical or healthcare manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Bioburden and Endotoxin testing methods.
Familiarity with laboratory equipment qualification and sterilization procedures (e.g., steam qualification).
Strong understanding of EHS compliance in laboratory operations.
Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and analytical skills.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts as per contract requirements.
