🎯 Job Overview:

We are currently seeking experienced Oncology Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) residing in the North Central (IL, MN, MO, IA, KS) or West Coast (CA, AZ) regions.
In this role, you will apply your clinical expertise, monitoring skills, and judgment to ensure high-quality execution of oncology clinical trials and patient safety in compliance with regulatory standards.


💼 Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Site Monitoring & Management

  • Conduct pre-study, initiation, routine monitoring, and close-out visits.

  • Maintain study files, liaise with vendors, and perform other assigned duties.

  • Ensure site management activities align with the project plan and sponsor expectations.

🔹 Patient Safety & Data Integrity

  • Verify that study staff are adequately trained and equipped to safely enroll patients.

  • Ensure compliance with informed consent procedures and protocol adherence.

  • Validate source data and ensure accuracy of entries in Case Report Forms (CRFs).

  • Identify and resolve missing or implausible data promptly.

🔹 Regulatory Compliance & Quality Oversight

  • Manage registry activities and conduct feasibility assessments, as needed.

  • Complete Serious Adverse Event (SAE) reporting, narratives, and follow-ups.

  • Perform CRF reviews, query generation, and resolution per data guidelines.

  • Maintain audit readiness and compliance with Fortrea or client systems.

🔹 Leadership & Coordination

  • Assist in training and mentoring of new team members (e.g., co-monitoring).

  • Serve as Local Project Coordinator (LPC) and local client contact when required.

  • Support project planning and contribute to process improvement.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.


🎓 Requirements:

  • 🎓 Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree or certification in a related allied health profession (e.g., nursing licensure) from an accredited institution.

  • 💼 Experience:

    • Minimum 3+ years of on-site clinical monitoring experience.

    • Oncology therapeutic area experience is required.

  • 🌐 Location:

    • Open to major hub locations in North Central or West Coast regions.

  • 🧠 Skills & Attributes:

    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

    • Able to adapt to changing priorities and tight timelines.

    • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

💰 Compensation & Benefits:

Target Pay Range (Based on Title):
💵 $115,000 – $140,000 (Annual)
