Job Summary

The Senior Associate – Contracts & Pricing will support pricing and contracting operations for the JAPAC region while assisting ex-US markets. This role focuses on contract execution, compliance monitoring, pricing accuracy, automation, reporting, and system governance.

The position ensures data integrity, SOX and IICC compliance adherence, SAP/Vistex system accuracy, and operational efficiency through reporting automation and process optimization initiatives.

Eligible Applicants: Candidates based in India.


Key Responsibilities

1. Contracts & Pricing Operations

  • Execute pricing, contracts, accruals, and payments accurately and within defined timelines for JAPAC markets

  • Ensure VAT compliance and correct pricing condition setup (e.g., VK11 in SAP)

  • Support contract lifecycle execution and documentation tracking

2. Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure SOX and IICC control compliance

  • Conduct data integrity checks and validation

  • Prepare control reports and compliance documentation

  • Perform unit, regression, and integration testing after system changes

  • Support system testing activities with country and product teams

3. Systems & Tools Management

  • Support SAP Vistex and Tableau access governance

  • Maintain and validate Tableau dashboards

  • Monitor system data flows and escalate discrepancies

  • Develop automation bots for monitoring, access management, and validation checks

  • Conduct automated testing and coordinate follow-ups

4. Reporting & Automation

  • Deliver dashboards, self-service reporting, and data extracts

  • Simplify reporting processes and improve transparency

  • Analyze process mining data using Celonis

  • Implement automation solutions to drive operational efficiency

5. Administrative & Global Team Support

  • Execute standardized reporting tasks for international teams (Breda & Portugal)

  • Coordinate meetings, action trackers, Smartsheet updates, and documentation

  • Track outstanding pricing and settlement documentation


Required Experience & Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 2 years of relevant experience
    OR

  • Associate’s Degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience

Required Experience

Minimum 2–5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Contract and pricing operations

  • Compliance and regulatory controls

  • Functional IT support

  • Business administration in pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors


Preferred Experience

  • Experience in pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry

  • Hands-on experience with SAP, Vistex, and Tableau

  • Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and tools such as Jira

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

  • Understanding of end-to-end pricing and contracting processes

  • Experience working in global, matrixed organizations
