Join Cognizant’s Healthcare Accounts Receivable (AR) Management team and play a key role in driving financial efficiency and operational excellence within the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) domain.
This hybrid role (including night shifts) focuses on ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and effective reconciliation processes that directly strengthen the organization’s financial health and support its mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services.


⚙️ Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end AR processes, ensuring timely billing and collections in the healthcare domain.

  • Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.

  • Analyze revenue cycle data to identify financial trends and implement improvement strategies.

  • Optimize cash flow by developing and executing plans to reduce outstanding receivables.

  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to resolve billing issues promptly.

  • Apply healthcare product knowledge to improve billing accuracy and compliance.

  • Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for AR operations and collections efficiency.

  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations for enhancing revenue cycle performance.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to company financial policies in all activities.

  • Support the finance team with financial reporting and forecasting related to receivables.

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance AR management effectiveness.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and audit-ready records for all AR transactions.

  • Adapt to hybrid work settings, maintaining high productivity during night shifts.


🎓 Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of healthcare products and financial workflows.

  • Proven experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) within the healthcare industry.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data.

  • Proficiency in financial software and AR management tools.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for internal and client collaboration.

  • High attention to detail ensuring precision in billing and collections.

  • Flexibility to work night shifts and manage a hybrid work model efficiently.


🏅 Certifications (Required)

  • Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS) or an equivalent Healthcare Finance Certification.
