Job Summary

ICON plc, a global leader in healthcare intelligence and clinical research, is hiring a Senior Site Contracts Negotiator across multiple US locations. In this pivotal role, you will lead the negotiation and management of clinical trial agreements (CTAs), complex amendments, and ancillary contracts with study sites. Candidates with 3–6 years of experience in a clinical research environment are encouraged to apply.


Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and finalize CTAs, amendments, and other site-related contracts

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical teams to support site startup and maintenance

  • Maintain regular communication with investigative sites and stakeholders

  • Track contract progress and compliance using ICON/client systems

  • Identify risks proactively and recommend mitigation strategies

  • Ensure contract documents meet ICON, client, and regulatory standards

  • Participate in study team meetings and departmental initiatives

  • Mentor junior team members and support training efforts


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (life sciences or related field preferred)

  • 3–6 years of experience in clinical research or clinical trial contract negotiation

  • Strong knowledge of CTA terms and contract lifecycle

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Effective communication, time management, and organizational skills

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks independently

  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management capabilities

  • Attention to detail and critical thinking

  • Previous experience in contract tracking systems is a plus
