The Position:

Novo Nordisk is seeking a passionate Medical Advisor to shape the future of medical affairs within the Diabetes therapy area. In this role, you will be a therapy area expert and lead various medico-marketing activities, driving strategic medical initiatives to improve patient care. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Therapy Area Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert for the assigned Diabetes portfolio.

  • Medico-Marketing Leadership: Lead medico-marketing activities, ensuring alignment with medical affairs strategy.

  • Ethical Compliance: Ensure adherence to ethical standards and internal procedures.

  • Stakeholder Relationships: Develop strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), doctors, patients, and other key stakeholders.

  • Data Generation & Evaluation: Contribute to generating and evaluating new clinical data for effective product promotion.

  • Real-World Evidence (RWE): Drive RWE generation activities in collaboration with medical colleagues and global teams.

  • Clinical Operations Support: Assist in SEC submissions, site selection, and patient recruitment.

  • Scientific Advocacy: Liaise with professional associations to build advocacy for Novo Nordisk’s products.

  • Publication Projects: Identify and lead publication initiatives to address data gaps.

  • Medical Education: Collaborate with commercial teams to enhance medical education and scientific dialogue.

  • Training & Development: Provide training to field staff and other stakeholders.

  • Product Launch Support: Facilitate new product launches in collaboration with marketing and regulatory teams.


Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

Required:

  • MBBS/MD degree with 1-2 years of experience in Medical Affairs or Medico-Marketing.

  • MDS degree with 2-3 years of experience in Medical Affairs or Medico-Marketing.

  • Strong expertise in the Diabetes therapy area and product portfolio.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Experience in medico-marketing activities.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with regulatory laws and promotional strategies.

  • Prior experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry.
