About the Department

The Sales Training – People & Organization team in India is responsible for building commercial capability across the organization. The team develops and delivers targeted learning solutions—including classroom, virtual, and on-the-job programs—that enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and leadership behaviors. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the department translates business strategy into actionable learning roadmaps, measures training impact, and drives continuous improvement.


Position Overview

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Senior Regional Training Associate to lead learning initiatives in the Delhi region. The role focuses on translating business and clinical insights into evidence-based training programs that enhance field team performance and support improved patient outcomes. The associate will collaborate with Sales, Medical, Marketing, HR, and field leaders to design, deliver, and localize learning solutions while upholding high standards of compliance and ethics.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver regional training programs on product knowledge, sales techniques, and compliance.

  • Facilitate classroom and virtual sessions, role-plays, and on-the-job coaching.

  • Partner with Sales, Medical, Marketing, and HR teams to ensure training aligns with business objectives.

  • Identify capability gaps through data analysis and implement targeted interventions.

  • Localize training materials and manage logistics for regional rollouts in Delhi and Bangalore.

  • Track training effectiveness and report insights to enhance impact.

  • Support new hire onboarding and ensure compliance with training documentation and SOPs.

  • Assist regional business needs, including occasional travel and flexible working hours.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Science from a recognized institution.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Sales Training function.

  • At least 3 years’ field sales experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector (5+ years preferred).

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.

  • Proven ability to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs.

  • Professional training certifications (e.g., ISTD Diploma) are a plus.

  • Willingness to relocate and travel regionally as required.

  • Creative, results-oriented mindset with strong operational execution skills.
