About the Department

The Sales Training – People & Organization team in India designs and delivers targeted learning solutions that strengthen product knowledge, sales skills, and leadership behaviors. Working collaboratively across Sales, Marketing, Medical, and HR functions, the team develops classroom, virtual, and on-the-job training programs that drive commercial capability, improve team performance, and enhance business outcomes.


Position Overview

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Senior Regional Training Associate to act as a learning ambassador for the Bangalore region. The role focuses on converting business and clinical insights into evidence-based training programs that enhance field team performance and support patient outcomes. The position requires strong collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to design, deliver, and localize training programs while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and ethics.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver regional training programs on product knowledge, sales skills, and compliance.

  • Facilitate classroom and virtual sessions, role-plays, and on-the-job coaching for field teams.

  • Partner with Sales, Medical, Marketing, and HR to ensure training aligns with business priorities and goals.

  • Identify capability gaps using data insights and implement targeted interventions.

  • Localize training materials and manage logistics for regional rollouts in Bangalore and Delhi.

  • Track and report training effectiveness, providing insights to optimize learning impact.

  • Provide coaching and support for new hire onboarding, ensuring compliance with training records and SOPs.

  • Support regional business needs, including occasional travel and flexible working hours.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Science from a recognized institution.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Sales Training function.

  • At least 3 years’ field sales experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector (5+ years preferred).

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.

  • Proven ability to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs.

  • Professional training certifications (e.g., ISTD Diploma) are a plus.

  • Willingness to relocate and travel regionally as required.

  • Creative, results-driven, and operationally strong mindset.
