Job Description

Position Overview:

The Medical Information team is vital in supporting the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical products. We provide timely, scientifically balanced, and evidence-based information in response to unsolicited requests from healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and payers. This role also encompasses the post-marketing management of adverse events and product complaints. As part of the Medical Information Contact Center (MICC) team, you will ensure client success by delivering industry-leading services, including global inbox management and case processing for adverse event reports, product quality complaints, and medical inquiries. Additionally, you will manage medical communications operations and drug safety activities as directed by management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing global inbox operations, including processing adverse event reports, product quality complaints, and medical inquiries.
  • Entering and triaging data from healthcare professionals and consumers, identifying adverse events and product complaints during the process.
  • Writing and filing adverse event reports and product quality complaint reports.
  • Coordinating responses to quality-related complaints, often interacting with client managers.
  • Overseeing medical communications operations and drug safety activities as specified by management.
  • Mentoring junior staff and providing initial and ongoing training.
  • Monitoring work processes for compliance with client performance requirements at EVERSANA-MICC.
  • Performing quality monitoring and peer reviews for the global inbox team.

  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Education: Pharm.D, Master of Science (MSc), B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or other Life Sciences degree.

Experience and Skills: Excellent documentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
