Senior Manager – API Project/Program Management

Role Summary:
Biocon is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead API project/program management within the Program Management department. The role focuses on driving development projects from initiation to approval, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality outcomes aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure project/program goals and targets are achieved within the desired timelines.
Execute projects adhering to the project management triangle (time, cost, quality).
Facilitate consensus among cross-functional team members to meet project requirements.
Establish and manage new, large-scale collaborations.
Implement project management systems and processes tailored to business needs.
Lead internal and partner-based projects from initiation through to regulatory approval.
Maintain alignment of project timelines with overall business objectives.
Collaborate with stakeholders across R&D, Regulatory, Clinical, IPR, Analytical R&D, Operations, Quality, and SCM.
Adhere to cGMP guidelines, SOPs, and other relevant pharmaceutical regulations.
Map project dependencies and identify critical paths to mitigate risks.
Apply various project management tools and methodologies for effective tracking.
Generate and present regular MIS reports as per agreed timelines.
Possess strong understanding of QA and regulatory standards in the pharmaceutical industry.
Educational Qualifications:
Required Qualification: M.Sc in a relevant scientific discipline
Experience Required: 8 – 14 years in project/program management within the pharmaceutical sector
Estimated Salary: ₹22–30 LPA (depending on experience and expertise)
