Position Overview

Teva Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Manager – Biostatistics to support Real World Data (RWD) Analytics and Real World Evidence (RWE) projects. This is an ideal opportunity for freshers and early-career professionals interested in biostatistics, data analytics, and pharmaceutical research.

The role involves programming, data analysis, and statistical support across multiple RWD sources including claims, electronic health records (EHRs), and registries. Candidates will work closely with statisticians, study teams, and global colleagues to deliver high-quality analytical outputs and contribute to evidence generation for healthcare decision-making.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute programming deliverables using RWD sources to support RWE studies and analyses.

  • Collaborate with statisticians and cross-functional teams to align on analytical strategies and timelines.

  • Translate statistical analysis plans and study protocols into reproducible analytical programs.

  • Ensure compliance with internal standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

  • Assist in building and training a team of RWD analysts in India, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and reporting for all analytics projects.

  • Stay updated on advanced analytical tools, AI/ML methods, and data automation technologies.


Qualifications & Experience

Educational Requirements:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.

Experience:

  • Fresher / 0–2 years experience in programming, biostatistics, or data analytics is welcome.

  • Exposure to RWD sources, including claims, EMRs, and registry data, is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in statistical programming tools (R, SAS, Python, etc.).

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with global teams and adapt to evolving project requirements.

  • Enthusiasm to learn advanced analytical techniques, AI/ML applications, and big data processing.

  • Reports to: Group Head – Real World Data Analytics
