Position Overview

As a Senior Healthcare Research & Data Analyst, you will apply advanced analytical methods to large healthcare datasets to solve complex, data-driven problems. You will design, develop, and maintain data systems that transform healthcare delivery and enable clients to make informed decisions.

This role suits someone who enjoys working with big data, understands healthcare provider systems, and thrives on delivering actionable insights in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills to develop and enhance healthcare data products.

  • Design, develop, and maintain processes for analyzing structured and unstructured “big data” using tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, and other analytic software.

  • Coordinate cross-functional, data-driven projects to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design and implement effective data solutions.

  • Develop and execute creative solutions for non-standard analytical problems.

  • Take initiative to improve group productivity and analytical capabilities.


Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent experience in Statistics, Mathematics, or a Quantitative Science.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in analytics, utilizing SQL and relational databases with both structured and unstructured data.

  • Experience working with medical, hospital, provider, or health systems data.

  • At least 1–2 years of experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Spotfire.

Preferred

  • Experience working with Snowflake.

  • Experience analyzing claims data.

  • Hands-on experience managing large datasets using business intelligence (BI) tools.


About the Team

The Provider Analytics Team at Clarivate delivers custom and semi-custom data and analytical solutions to healthcare providers nationwide. The team focuses on providing objective, actionable insights to improve the operational and business performance of hospitals and health systems.


Work Hours & Location

  • Schedule: Full-time, primarily during core business hours (flexibility required for global collaboration).

  • Work Model: Hybrid – available in Philadelphia or Toronto.
