This job posting is for the Rare Cardiac, Amyloidosis Multi-disciplinary Specialist (AMS) position at Pfizer, which focuses on executing disease awareness initiatives for ATTR-CM (transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy) within various healthcare settings. The AMS will target healthcare providers (HCPs) across multiple specialties, including cardiology, hematology/oncology, neurology, and primary care, aiming to increase disease state awareness and support patient identification and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Account Planning & Execution:

    • Develop territory business plans, set key performance metrics, and prioritize customer opportunities to maximize impact.
    • Tailor business objectives and strategies based on local healthcare dynamics and customer needs.
    • Utilize available data and resources to track and refine customer profiles, call planning, and schedules.
  2. Advanced Selling & Relationship Building:

    • Use advanced selling skills to educate healthcare providers on ATTR-CM, diagnostic procedures, and Pfizer’s Vyndamax clinical profile.
    • Partner with healthcare providers to address patient needs and deliver value-added educational programs.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across healthcare systems.
  3. Collaboration & Coordination:

    • Collaborate with Pfizer teams and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to enhance the customer experience and accelerate internal approaches.
    • Work cross-functionally to align resources and services effectively for customer benefit.
  4. Business Acumen & Market Insights:

    • Gather insights from customers to anticipate market opportunities and threats.
    • Apply market/customer data to local sales planning and decision-making, ensuring resources are used effectively.
  5. Professional Development:

    • Continuously pursue learning opportunities to enhance personal and professional growth.
    • Recognize interpersonal strengths and limitations, demonstrating a coachable attitude and commitment to improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Must-Have:

    • 5-10 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience.
    • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with a strong track record in sales planning, execution, and customer relationship management.
    • Demonstrated ability to use market insights to inform sales strategies and actions.
    • Strong teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills.
    • Ability to adhere to corporate policies and regulations.
  • Nice-to-Have:

    • Experience in Rare Disease, Specialty (Cardiology, Hematology-Oncology, Neurology), or product launches.
    • Prior experience in hospital sales and working with large academic centers or hospital systems.

Physical/Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to travel domestically with occasional overnight stays.
  • Must have a valid US driver’s license with a driving record in compliance with company standards.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $96,700 to $217,000 annually, with additional quarterly sales incentives.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), paid leave, medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Relocation: Assistance may be available depending on business needs.

Location:

  • The position covers the San Francisco Bay Area, including regions like San Francisco, San Jose, Modesto, Fresno, Napa, Stockton, and Monterey.
