Job Description: Senior Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Consultant to join our expanding team at Navitas Life Sciences. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in the successful delivery of consultancy projects, managing workstreams, and fostering strong client relationships. You will also engage in business development activities to drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Independently lead workstreams or sub-projects, developing client solutions and ensuring effective implementation.
  • Project Management: Oversee and own the implementation of project elements or workstreams, aligning outputs with the project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Client Engagement: Define and understand client needs, leading the analysis, design, and implementation of solutions. Maintain significant client contact through face-to-face meetings, project team discussions, and workshops to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on client projects and within Navitas Life Sciences' industry-leading Pharmacovigilance (PV) and Regulatory Networks.
  • Team Development: Coach team members in designing solutions, preparing presentations, and conducting workshops.
  • Business Development: Support business growth by identifying opportunities, generating leads, and participating in proposal development and client relationship management.
  • Collateral Development: Contribute to the creation of strategic collateral, including case studies and knowledge management tools, and support strategic initiatives and management projects.
  • Professionalism and Development: Demonstrate professionalism, drive, and responsibility for tasks, and contribute to your own development and that of Navitas Life Sciences.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Experience:
    • 5 years in the Life Sciences industry or consulting, including:
      • At least 2 years in a consulting role and/or
      • At least 3 years in a Life Sciences/Pharma industry role.
  • Specialization: Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
    • Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance
    • Clinical Development Processes
    • Labelling and Regulatory Affairs
    • Risk Management, Quality, and Compliance
  • Capabilities:
    • Strong consulting skills with knowledge of methodologies and tools.
    • Confident and effective communication skills.
    • Proficient in client and project management, including:
      • Scoping and requirements definition
      • Business case development
      • Planning, scheduling, and tracking
      • Stakeholder and resource management
      • Status reporting, issue and risk management
      • Communication planning and project close-out.
    • Commercial acumen with some business development experience.
    • Personal attributes: Confidence, professionalism, self-starter, resilience, and social awareness.
