Senior Business Domain Architect – Clinical Development | Søborg, Denmark
Job Summary:
Novo Nordisk is seeking an experienced Senior Business Domain Architect to shape digital transformation within its Clinical Development operations. Based in Søborg, Denmark, this role is ideal for professionals with deep domain expertise in life sciences and a strategic mindset to align IT solutions with clinical, regulatory, safety, and data science objectives. Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and document clinical development processes to identify digital opportunities.
Design and maintain domain-specific architecture including business capability maps, value streams, and system landscapes.
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to co-create technology roadmaps.
Translate complex business needs into practical, scalable IT solutions.
Act as a strategic advisor during early-phase digital initiatives.
Guide cross-functional teams in aligning projects with architectural and organizational goals.
Partner with VP-level stakeholders to drive transformation in clinical domains such as Trial Planning & Execution, Regulatory & Safety, and Data Science.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Data Science, or Business Administration.
6+ years of experience in Business Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Senior Business Analysis roles.
Strong domain knowledge in clinical development, including regulatory, safety, data science, and trial execution processes.
Familiarity with enterprise architecture tools and business process modeling.
Experience with digital transformation programs, process mapping, and AI is a strong advantage.
Knowledge of Veeva platform is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Fluent in English, with strong communication capabilities.
