About the Team – Antibody Development:
The Antibody Team focuses on engineering and development of high-performance and specific antibodies using cutting-edge technologies. This team supports critical innovations in immunoassays through design, purification, conjugation, and validation of reagents tailored for research and diagnostics.


Role Summary:
The Scientist III role offers a leadership opportunity in antibody development, overseeing the design and implementation of molecular, cellular, and protein biology strategies to develop high-quality reagents. This is a hands-on and strategic position that requires both scientific expertise and team management capabilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead antibody development workflows including testing, screening, and quality evaluation

  • Mentor and manage teams of scientists in a matrix structure

  • Guide protocol development and conceptual innovation across antibody platforms

  • Train junior scientists in experiment planning, execution, and data interpretation

  • Act as technical authority in antibody R&D, offering input to collaborative projects

  • Coordinate cross-functionally with product management, operations, and business teams

  • Drive new product launches through feasibility, development, and validation phases


Candidate Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • PhD with 7+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 15+ years in life sciences

  • Industrial experience: Minimum 3–4 years in a biotech or biopharma setting

Core Expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of antibody generation: hybridoma, single B-cell, recombinant antibody platforms

  • Hands-on with recombinant protein expression, purification, conjugation, and immunoassays (ELISA, Western blot, IHC, IF)

  • Proficient in molecular biology and flow cytometry (including single-cell sorting and rare population analysis)

  • Familiarity with fluorescence-based detection technologies and microscopy

  • Experience in authoring SOPs and managing reproducibility in lab environments

Leadership & Soft Skills:

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional R&D teams

  • Strong communication skills for presenting scientific data and reports

  • Experience with product commercialization and regulatory processes

  • Conflict resolution, team mentoring, and strategic decision-making abilities

  • Able to inspire innovation and integrity across scientific initiatives
